- This photograph depicts a married couple (presumably William Stevens and his wife) in formal wear. The husband is seated on the left with his wife standing next to him. The wife gazes directly at the camera while the husband looks off to the right. A little bit of cloudiness near the husband's feet and the bottom/back of the woman's dress suggest they were moving slightly while their picture was being taken. Both have neutral expressions and good posture.
- Notes
- Condition: front: thick brown stains around edges at bottom and sides (suggest photo may have been stuck to something) and there are faint scratches throughout. Gold text at bottom is worn and green background is scratched off in a few areas. Bottom right corner is peeling apart and green on right side is chipping off.
Back: Scratches and wear throughout. Text is faded and edges all around are peeling/chipping. - Inscriptions
