- This photo shows a farming family in front of their home in Nissouri. Two horses are carting hay, driven by a man on top of the hay stack and a third horse is seen on the right. There are three small children and six adults shown, presumably members of the Cole family. The place in the photograph was located at Lot 29, Concession 12, West and East sides. This is photograph #1204 from the Carter & Isaac collection.
- Notes
- Condition: Front: top of photo is torn with discolouration throughout. There are brown spotted stains throughout with a little water damage in the top right corner of the green matting. there are also some white stains on the left bottom corner of the green matting.
Back: Some fading and wear with a few white spotted stains throughout. - Inscriptions
- Back top left corner reads "1204" with some illegible writing under the number.
Sticky note on top right corner reads: "Carter & Isaac #1204 Unknown - but picture was in Cole Collection (Lot 29 Conc. 12 W & E sides)" - Date of Original
