- Description
- Made of wood with a metal piece.
- Notes
- Shuttles move yarn back and forth through the loom as someone weaves. The yarn is stored on a shuttle's bobbin (spool).
This shuttle is roughly 17 inches long and has a closed back with a hinged metal top to keep the bobbins in place. The metal tips, resembling the tip of a pencil, made it easier to glide through the yarn. - Date of Original
