Timeline_Panel_1990 COBOURG ARCHITECTURE TIMELINE 1990-1999 LIUNA TRAINING CENTRE This is a unique building where students learn building trades. It includes large open areas where construction can take place as well as a large auditorium. The centre block, with arched windows and walkway, is topped by a cupola and flanked by two large square blocks with squared windows but high arched entrances. 560 Dodge St. 1995 C. GORDON KING CENTRE Designed by acclaimed architect Raymond Moriyama, this building holds the Cobourg Public Library and the Northumberland County Archives. Large windows throughout contrast with the hipped roof and cupola which dominate the main two-story structure. Two one-story extensions envelop the surprisingly simple main entrance. 200 Ontario St. 1995 WATERFRONTCONDO DEVELOPMENT Condominium living beside Cobourg Harbour becomes a reality. Financial di�culties slowed development at first, but it was not long before development filled in the whole district which had been commercial and industrial. 1997
