- Inscribed “Star. Pat. Oct. 19 1875”. Made of cast iron with two fluted brass rollers. Used in many homes to crimp fabric or clothing. Originally this machine had warming inserts but those have disappeared. This machine easily allowed the user to create even-spaced, neat ruffles and frills.
