- clear bottle; 4 piece mold; cylindrical body tapering into neck; lip inside mouth for milk cap
- silk screened in black on one side of bottle: "Glover's / CITY DAIRY / CHATHAM ONT." ; on opposite side: "MILK / The Builder" over man drinking a glass of milk
- embossed on base: "D" within diamond
- Robert Glover established a dairy in 1920; in 1932 it became known as Glover's City Dairy and continued under that name until the mid 1960s, even though the business had been bought out by Vale's Dairy
