- Description
- This is an image of Isabelle Chesterfield. It looks to be a professional photo, presumably taken for her graduation from Western University in 1937. The bottom corner says "Darragh LONDON," which was a photographer in London from 1920-1925. This photo is not thought to be from that time frame as Isabelle was born in 1915 and appears to be older than five to ten years old in this photo.
Isabelle Florence Chesterfield was the youngest child and daughter of James Allen Chesterfield and Annie Wilson. Isabelle attended Western where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree, with Honours in Business Administration and Secretarial Science. She graduated from Ursuline College of Brescia at Western in 1937. Her mother, Annie, managed to send her two youngest children, Norman and Isabelle, off to university despite being a single mother with four other children. Isabelle later married Charles Kennedy.
