Description

This is an image of a crowd waiting to see the Duke of York visiting Berlin. The city of Berlin underwent a name change in 1916, becoming Kitchener. In this image, a large crowd can be seen gathered on the streets. Various United Kingdom flags can also be seen. A few signs on building in the background can be read including "The ALPHA CHEMICAL CO'Y. 6" and "RANDALL & ROOS---- / WHOLESALE GROCERS" and both buildings have people on their roofs.

This photo belongs to the Reesor Collection, which is a group of photos taken by Milton W. Reesor, a local amateur photographer. He took many photos of friends, family, animals, outdoor activities, machinery, the railway, and more in and around St. Marys from 1898-1910.
