Christian Albert Graf was the son of Frederick Edward Graf. Both weavers, they lived and worked in Gasline, Ontario. When his father passed away Albert continued the family business of weaving textiles for the local community, most famously jacquard coverlets. When coverlets became less popular Albert and his family continued to weave rugs, horse blankets, and household linens.
