- A white and red jacquard coverlet woven circa 1860 by F. Edward Graf. The pattern is birds nest with a floral medallion border. The warp (vertical threads) is white cotton, the weft (horizontal threads) is red wool. The image shows the front and back of the coverlet and the intricate pattern is visible on both sides. There is fringe on three sides. The cartouche in the bottom corners read "BIRDS/NEST" mirrored in four squares.
