- This stereoscopic view depicts several ships in the Port Colborne harbour between 1876 and 1880. The photo was taken from the west harbour wall looking southeast. The Grand Trunk Grain Elevator on the east harbour wall is in the background. The dark-coloured vessel along the wall is the Jessie Scarth.
- Notes
- The Jessie Scarth was built in 1871 in Hamilton, and sailed as far as the Black Sea in Europe. The Jessie Scarth sank in 1887 in Lake Michigan.
