- (A) cap badge of the Royal Canadian Army Service consisting of a silver 8 pointed blasing star, top point is a Queens Crown, applied to centre of star is brass medalion with "E II R" in open work in the centre surrounded by a border/belt of latin, at bottom is a scroll bearing the words "ROYAL CANADIAN ARMY SERVICE CORPS", reverse has two copper lugs that accept a pin to secure the badge to a hat
(B) brass sprung cotter-pin device to go through the badge lugs (L-4.3cm, W-.7)
