- pair of epaulets 6 cm wide & tapered to rounded top, black wool top with black satin underside; 3 buttons: 1.7 cm diameter round button, silver-colour, debossed with maple leaf surmounted with cross pattée & crown, 2.1 cm squared British Imperial State crown, gold-coloured with burgundy velvet, 3.8 cm x 0.7 cm gold-coloured bar "RCAChC" , buttons secured with straight pins on underside; 3 cm x 13.5 cm satin strip stitched to underside
