Description
- two World War I medals suspended from ribbons sewn to a ribbon bar with safetly pin for wearing
-medal on left is a silver British War Medal, the obverse bearing the bust of King George V while the reverse depicts a rider on horseback trampling a shiled and skull with the dates "1914" and "1918", disk is suspended from a watered silk ribbon of orange flanked by narrow bands of white, black, and blue through a straigh bar suspender
- other medal is a bronze Allied Victory Medal, the obverse depicting the winged figure of Vicotry whilte the reverse has the wording 'THE GREAT/WAR FOR /CIVILIZATION/1914-1919" suspended by a watered silk rainbow coloured ribbon through a ring suspender
- both medals bear the following information of the recipient impressed on their rims: "123625 PTE.A.E. JACOBS. 5-C.M.R."
