- - World War I silver British War medal, the obverse bearing the bust of King George V while the reverse depicts a rider on horseback trampling a shield and skull with the dates "1914" and "1918"
- the disc is suspended from a watered silk rainbow ribbon coloured ribbon (incorrect ribbon for medal) through a straight bar suspender, medal bears the following information of the recipient impressed on its rim "2010294 SPR. W.J. BABCOCK. C.E."
