- Description
- Tinted photo of the residence at 130 Wellington Street North, St. Marys, the northwest corner of Wellington and Widder Streets, probably taken in the 1940s.
This magnificent limestone home was built for local merchant Robert Dickson and his family in 1890-91 and was the family home for many years. Robert's daughter, Marion Dickson, was the last member of the family to live here.
The people grouped in front give a sense of the size of the home and the extent and impact of its setting. - Notes
