- Description
- Photo of the living room interior at Ercildoune.
Ercildoune was originally built as a wedding gift to George Carter's daughter Charlotte when she married Henry Lincoln Rice in 1880. The home is built in the Second Empire style, a very rare style of home in St. Marys or any other small town. The Sparks' family lived in this home from about 1905 into the 1950s. - Notes
