- Tintype (or also called ferrotype) of a man. He has a full beard and thick hair parted to the side and swept back from his face. He appears to have this arms crossed in front of him.

- Condition: The other half of this photo case is missing; photo is in good condition; one area near bottom where the iron plate has began to rust through image; seems powdery near bottom right (rust product?); an odd yellow colour spot under man's bowtie (possibly also rust?) (as per Megan Bushell - October 6, 2008)
