- Description
- Ferrotype of a woman standing and holding a book while leaning against the back of a chair. The photo has been hand-coloured in places to give it the appearance of a coloured photo.
There is a chance that this woman is a member of the Fewster family. - Notes
- Condition: Several bends in the iron plate (image appears light where folds are); image has chipped to the left of the woman's face and on her skirt; upper-right edge appears to have white cut on it - possibly from labelling photo; two areas rusting on back where lacquer is gone and iron is exposed.
(as per Megan Bushell, October, 2008) - Inscriptions
- Note: among Wes' Aunt Maria's belongings, Mrs. Wm. Stevens deceased - maiden name Maria Fewster.
