I suspect the building on the bottom left was used to store ice. "On the south side of Trout Creek at the north end of King St. was a thriving ash and ice business run by Bill Richards .... A long shed situated at the area of the Howard Seeley property was used to contain ice and during the cold months of January and February a group of industrious men could be seen stripping the clear blue ice from London Bridge to Trout Creek Bridge and by use of horse power the ice was moved to the shed and deposited cosily between great layers of saw dust."
