Description
With the end of World War II, the men returning from the war, the men who were released from POW camps, and Europeans wishing to stay in Canada, were all well received by the town of Marathon. In this photo is the CPR depot which was under construction. In the foreground are dormitories for the 1300 construction workers who built the paper mill.
