I lived in Stevens in 1956. Was the station moved? This does not look like the area that I knew as the station area. Also, do you have other pictures of the Marathon Corporation's Camps along the CNR. Line, Hilisport CNR Station Area, Caramat CNR Station Area and the water and coal shutte sights I believe Caramat had these in the station area. I remember the steamer engine unhooking while we waited at the Caramat Station, pull ahead and fill up with coal and water, returnd and hook up to the train cars and we where on our way.

I also lived in Stevens from 1953 to about 1960 and this is not a picture of the CN Station. The siding and building are wrong.
How can I submit a picture of the station?

Hi Jerry - you can submit a picture directly to the Gateway to Northwestern Ontario collection from the home page under "Community Contributions".

My Father Larry Wayne was the CNR Station Agent from 1955 to 1958 and I would very much like to see a picture of the Railway Station as we lived directly across the tracks from it....and I cannot find any... Thanks for your time.
