Description
Home of Francis Anderson at 178 Ontario Street. This photo shows the veranda, the shutters on the upper windows, and the stone wall with pillars at the gate. Agnes Anderson and Annie Anderson are posing with bicycles at the gate.
Francis Anderson was a well-known local stonemason and his home is an example of his work.
The core of this house still stands, although it had a number of changes and modifications to make it first of all a nursing home and later an apartment building.
