- A handwritten letter, dated August 4, 1860, from William Thomas, the architect who designed Brock's Monument, to Sir Allan McNabb. Thomas wrote that he had found an eye-witness, Mr. W. Wright, who was close to Brock when he was hit and, as a result, he would be able to locate the site of his fall.
