- This is a brick from under the pulpit of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church when the flooring was taken up. It is believed to have belonged to the church that existed in 1794. St. Andrews’ first building was burned in 1813 when the American troops burnt the entire town of Newark (Niagara-on-the-Lake) during the war.
