Carried. Moved by Mr. Hudspeth, seconded by Mr. Martingale, that this Council grant the sum of $25 to the York Red Cross Society. Carried. Moved by Mr. Lee, seconded by Mr. Bradshaw, that the Council borrow from N. H. Wickett the sum of $500 for four months, at 6 per cent, per annum. Carried A by-law was passed to levy rates on all rateable property in the township for 1916 : County rate 9 2-10 mills ; Township rate 1 910 ; Patriotic fund 1 110 ; General School fund 2 610; S.
