I have been to the Towell's Camp. It is located 2.7 kms north-west of the McCreights Bridge on the side of a creek (right side of road) on your way to Shaw Dam Lake. As of 2016, you can still barely see humps of 2 of the former buildings.

I visited this old lumber camp in 2017. It is easy to get to, however, you will need to know when to stop and walk. Its on your right side, in a bit of a downward hill along a flat spot next to the creek. Dan
