Description: A model of a Welsh salmon fishing boat called a coracle. Coracles were designed for use on fast-flowing rivers and are usually made of a framework of split and interwoven willow rods tied with willow bark. They have been used for centuries, being first noted by Julius Caesar in 55 BC during his invasions of Britain, and are still in use today.
