Peacefully at Leisureworld, Ingersoll on Sunday, January 2, 2011, Bessie Defoe (nee Jeoffroy) formerly of Woodstock in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Raymond Defoe (2003). Dear mother of Carol Colpitts (Ross), Raymond Defoe (Janeen), Lillian Pearce (Dave Baker), all of Woodstock, and Linda Deschenes (Rosaire) of Brampton. Lovingly remembered by her 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of George Jeoffroy (Marg). Predeceased by her parents Frank and Sarah Jeoffroy, brothers Frank and Jim, and sisters Agnes and Dorothy. Friends will be received at the Smith-LeRoy funeral home, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Dave Snihur officiating. Interment at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
