THROWER, Donald A (Don) - passed away peacefully, after a determined battle with cancer, on Wednesday, April 13th, 2011 at the Stedman Community Hospice. Don was in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Eileen Thrower for over 60 years. Beloved father of Vicki (Greg) McGraw and Valerie Thrower. Special Grampa of Ryan. Predeceased by his dear son Jonathan Graham. Don is also survived by his siblings; William, Marilyn and Barbara. Don was a life-long employee of Massey-Ferguson and he had a passion for hockey, baseball, golf and was an avid fisherman. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. On Monday, April 18th, 2011 visitation will be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, 155 Memorial Drive, Brantford from 1-2 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice of Brantford, Ont. or St. Mark's Anglican Church would be appreciated. www.dennistoll.ca
