McKAY, Donald H - Peacefully at People Care Tavistock on Saturday, May 7th 2011. Donald H. McKay formerly of RR#6 Woodstock in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Victoria McKay (nee Turkington) (1992). Dear father of Sharon McKay (David) of Stratford, John (Ruth Anne) of Hickson, Brian (Georgia) of Kelowna, BC, Mary Jane McKay Carey (Raymond) of Edmonton AB, Betty Andrews (Paul) of Ottawa, Don E. (Faith) of R.R. # 6 Woodstock, Barry (Laurie) of R.R. #2 Alma and Kathy Bertrand of Guelph. Loved grandfather of 20 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Dear brother of Dr. Gerald McKay (Fran) of Woodstock and Margaret Clarke of Winnipeg, MB. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Don owned and operated a dairy farm near Hickson for over 50 years. He served many years on council for East Zorra -Tavistock, serving as Mayor from 1982-1988. The family will receive friends at the LONGWORTH FUNERAL HOME 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Wednesday, May 11th 2011 from 2:30 - 4:30pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday at 11am with Rev. Chris Little officiating. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
