MATURI, Fernando - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Fernando Maturi on May 30, 2011 at the age of 77 years at the Niagara General Hospital. He will be greatly missed by his loving and devoted wife, Rose (nee Crocco), daughters Susie (Ed Versolatto) and Rosemary (Jeff Pedler); grandchildren: Alexander, Tegan, Alyana; Jeffrey, Sandra, Francesca, Michele, Giovanni and Gabriele. He is predeceased by his son Frank, siblings; Vittoria, Maria, Arduino, Luigi. He is survived by his siblings Filomena and Bruno. He will also be missed by Frank and Pam, and Tony and Linda Crocco and Luigi Massi of Italy. Fernando retired from Hayes Dana after 29 years of service. He will be remembered with fondness for his love of gardening and his sense of humour. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME , 6062 Main St. on Wednesday June 1st for visiting 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. the Vigil for Fernando will be celebrated Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m at Our Lady of Scapular Church. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Woodstock and District Big Brothers, Big Sisters would be appreciated by the family.
