PELLOW, James – Peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, C. James “Jim” Pellow of Woodstock in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Marion (nee McKee). Loving father to Helen of Tillsonburg and Julie Minigan (Roger) of Elora. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Jane Pellow, sisters Helen Douglas and Margaret Reeves and brothers Clark, Bill and Jack. Jim and Marion operated Pellow Furniture from 1946 until 1986. Jim served in the RCAF during WW II. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 55, Woodstock and the Probus Club, and a former member of the South Gate Singers. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Friday, June 3, 2011 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mark McLennan of Knox Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment at the Presbyterian Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
