FISHER, John D. "Carp" - Peacefully in his sleep at Caressant Care Nursing Home on Saturday June 4, 2011 in his 78th year. Adoring father to daughter Peggy and devoted friend to “son” Ronnie. Loved and sadly missed by sister Marilyn Langford (George) and brother Doug Fisher (Jo). Born and raised in Burford Ontario John is the son of the late Duncan and Gladys Fisher and pre-deceased by older brother Leonard. John will be fondly remembered by all of his friends, relatives and extended family. He brought many smiles to lives he touched with his laughter, generosity and kind heart. His love of children and animals was unwavering. Donations to the Kids Help Phone or the Humane Society of your choice would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. At John’s wishes no funeral will be held. A Celebration of John’s life will be arranged at a later date with announcement to follow.1
