WHEATLEY, Maisie Matilda (nee Buckrell) - passed away at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus, London, Ontario, (formerly of Brantford). Predeceased by her husband, David Dick Wheatley. Mother of Doreen Farquhar (David), Joan Smith (Paul), and Lois Wheatley (Bob Hulme). Grandmother of Rachel, Damon and Jonathan. Predeceased by her brother Fred and twin sister Maida, and parents John and Ada Buckrell. Survived by her brothers, Maurice, Philip and Leslie, and sister Joy Mather. Maisie was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Brantford, Women's Mission Circle and volunteered for the Red Cross and was known as a "sweet woman". Very special thanks to the staff of Meadow Park for all their care during Maisie's stay with them and the staff of LHSC, Victoria Campus. Family and Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME , 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service held in the chapel on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 11a.m. Interment to follow at Burgessville Baptist Cemetery. Donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society and Baptist Missions. www.dennistoll.ca
