McCREADY, Emma Roseline - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday, July 17, 2011, Emma R. McCready (nee Ash) of Woodstock in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late John "Jack" H. McCready (1996). Dear mother of Leo (Marilyn) of St. Catharines, Jim (Linda) of Thamesford, Heather (late Dennis) of Thamesford, and Vicki (Doug) Millard of Sweaburg. Loved grandmother of Sara, Jennifer, Tyler, and Christy McCready, Tammy Douglas; Nicholas and Justin Nace, and great grandmother of Brennan, Bryce, Mason, Ava, Thomas, and Eleanor Rose. Cherished friend of Angus Mowat. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Frances (nee Bolone) Ash, brothers Henry and Joe Ash, and her three sisters Mary Brown, Elizabeth Stapleton, and Gertrude De Block. Emma was a longtime member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Friends will be received at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME (formerly Longworth's) 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 2-4, and 7-9 pm. The funeral liturgy will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish 904 Dundas St. Woodstock, on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 11am with Father Slawomir Szwargrzyk officiating.
