Strickler, Harvey (Died)

STRICKLER, Harvey - In his 93rd year, on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Woodstock Hospital, Harvey Randle Strickler of Oxford Gardens, Woodstock. Predeceased by his wife Joye (nee Lynch) (2006). He is survived by his sons Randy Strickler (Donna) and Bill Strickler (Ruth Anne), all of Woodstock. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Karen Murray (David), Jeffrey Strickler (Cathy), Bradley Strickler (Cindy), Kathryn Strickler (Matt Smith), and Drew Strickler, as well as eight great grandchildren: Justin, Nick, Kristen, Richard, Cameron, Devon, Sharon and Dexter. Brother of Beulah Bond (Jim), Stanley Strickler (Frances) and June Goff Smith. Harvey was a honourary member of the Woodstock Horticultural Society and well known for his flowers and gardens on Sydenham Street. Friends may gather at Old St. Paul's Anglican Church, 723 Dundas Street, Woodstock on Thursday, February 23, 2012 for visiting from 1:00 to 2:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bruce Genge officiating. Cremation, followed by interment later at the Anglican Cemetery.
