CALIC, Martin - Peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, Martin Calic of Woodstock in his 83rd year. Born in Lipine, Croatia on November 2, 1929. Husband of the late Ana (nee Varga) (1997). Beloved father of Ivan Calic of Woodstock and the late Tom Calic. Loving Deda of Nathan, Matthew, Natasha, Jennifer, Rebecca and Jason and great grandfather of Mya and Payton. Brother of Josip Calic (Milica) of Woodstock and Frank Calic (Elizabeth) of Long Point. Also remembered by his nieces and nephews, as well as his extended family in Croatia. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME , 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 4:00 pm. Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 904 Dundas Street, Woodstock on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
