PIPER, Joel Charles - Peacefully with family by his side at Woodstock General Hospital. Joel Piper of Sweaburg in his 70th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Sandra (nee Osborne) for 21 years. Loving uncle of Debbie Griffith and her children Jeffrey and Joey. Beloved step-father to Stevie, Michelle and Brad (Wendy). Joel was predeceased by his brothers Bill and David. Joel was Past Master King Hiram Lodge #37, Past District Deputy Wilson District, Past First Principal of Royal Arch Masons, Oxford-Harris Chapter #18, Scottish Rite 32degree, Avalon Chapter Eastern Star #220, Member Mocha Shriners , Member Oriental Band, ROJ., Member of the Ingersoll Figure Skating Club. Friends will be received at the McBEATH-DYNES FUNERAL HOME 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Masonic Lodge service under the auspices of King Hiram Lodge # 37 A.F.& A.M. will be held at 4pm on Sunday. The funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church 118 King Street West, Ingersoll on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 2pm with Reverend Bill Mayoros officiating. Interment to follow at Harris Street Cemetery. Donations in Joel’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Trinity United Church Building Fund (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
