LESTER, John "Jack" - At Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday September 24, 2012, Jack Lester of Delhi, in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Meta (Fletcher). Loving father of Bob and wife Marie of RR#1 La Salette, Read and wife Helen of Simcoe, Greg and wife Karen of Midhurst, Dianne Broker and husband Gerald of Delhi. He will be sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters Dorothy, Emily, and Muriel. Jack was a veteran of WWII, Flight instructor in the RCAF, charter member of Norwich Musical Society Band, longtime dairy farmer in Oxford County, actively involved in municipal and local politics. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME , 45 Main St. W., Norwich (519) 863-3020 on Wednesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Legion service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Jack's life will be held at Norwich United Church on Thursday September 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Norwich Cemetery.
