FERRIS, Vernon Charles - Peacefully, surrounded by his family at the V.O.N. Sakura House, Woodstock on Tuesday November 6, 2012. Vern Ferris of R.R. # 2 Burgessville in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Ruth. Loving father of Lisa and husband Herb Petschauer of Delta, B.C., Brock of Norwich. Grandfather to Harlan Petschauer. Brother of Dalton and wife Julia, Les and wife Donna, Doug, Roy and sister-in-law Deanna. Predeceased by a sister-in-law Sheila. Friends will be received at THE ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main St. W. Norwich (519) 863-3020 on Thursday 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to celebrate Vern's life will be held at the funeral home on Friday November 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Burgessville Baptist Cemetery.
