HOWE, George William - 1919-2012 - Peacefully at Woodingford Lodge Tillsonburg, surrounded by his family, George William Howe passed away at the age of 93. George is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Alice (Adlington); Proud father of Brian and his wife Pat, Beth and her husband Ewart McLaughlin. George was committed to his family and community. His quiet generosity touched many. Loving Grandfather and Great-Grandfather to Jason & Kim Howe and their children Spencer and Madison; Jamie & Katherine Howe and their daughter Ella; Katie & Franco Barbon and their children Benjamin, Joshua & Michael; Kari & Ed Lamers and their children Jonathan & David; Kristine & Curtis Hayes and their children Calvin George and Judith; Kim & Dale McCutchen and their children Claire, Grace & Travis; Kelly & Matthew Heleniak and their children Olivia & Richard; Kassandra & Shane Way and their children Josephine & Amelia. George is predeceased by his mother Margaret Howe. Friends will be received for visitation at OSTRANDER'S FUNERAL HOME LTD , 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg, Ontario N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221 on Sunday November 18th, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The Memorial Service to celebrate George's life will be held Monday November 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Ostrander's Funeral Home Chapel following the visitation. Pastor Steven Amorin of First Baptist Church officiating. Private family inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London at a later date.
