De MELO, Joe Jacinto - Born January 2, 1940 in Azores, Portugal. Suddenly at the age of 72, Joe De Melo passed away on November 30, 2012. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret De Melo, son Marty De Melo (Joni), daughter Pauline Brown (Derrick), and grandchildren Desiree, Andrew and Mariah De Melo and Marcus Brown. Brother of Mike De Melo (Angelina), Noah De Melo (Mary), Jim De Melo (Sharon), Eva Custodio (Joe), Rosie Sampson (Harold) and Hazel De Melo. Brother-in-law of Aldora Pereira, Mike Da Silva (Grace), Connie Da Silva (David), Joe Da Silva (Olinda), Maria Mendonca (Luis), Teresa Rodrigues (John) and Carlos Da Silva (Lidia). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Predeceased by his parents Jose and Maria De Melo, sister-in-law Carol De Melo, and brother-in-law Manuel Pereira. Friends were received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME , 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Parish prayers at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm. Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 904 Dundas Street, Woodstock on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
