McKINNEY, Marno, born Margaret Louise Waterhouse, formerly Marno Baker - Passed away at The Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday, November 27th , 2012, from the rarest of afflictions, old age. She was 92. Marno said she was going out kicking and screaming, which reflects her sense of humour and her honesty right to the end. She was a registered nurse, graduating from The Toronto General Hospital. An avid painter, she was a former member of The Woodstock Art Gallery and The Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre. Marno was born in Ingersoll, Ontario, on January 23rd, 1920 and was predeceased by husbands, Herbert Frederick Baker and Steadman McKinney as well as her sister, Mary Smith. Marno will be deeply missed by her partner in life, Bill Bright, her children, Catherine Groulx, Lisbeth DiPasquale and David Baker, her grandchildren, Shane, Douglas, Rebecca, Michael, Brittany, Coleson, Chris, Marian, Glenn, Paul, and Gail and great grandchildren Mackenzie, Ethan, Michael, Kristopher and Stephen. The family thanks the staff at Oxford Gardens for their kindness. A Memorial Service, to be announced, will be held at the BROCK and VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004.
