MacMILLAN, James Robert (Jim) - Peacefully, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer, at Alexandra Hospital, on Wednesday, January 12th, 2011 in his 76th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Nancy for 51 years. Much loved father of Susan Pollard (Neal), Sally Bissell (Charlie), Karen Truscott. Cherished gramps of Jennifer Brownscombe (Larry), Mike and Sara Pollard, Amanda, Ben and Cody Bissell, Erin and Amy Truscott and great grandson Cole Brownscombe. Dear brother of Jack (Shirley), Marg Robinson (Howard), Doris Kish, Leona Wilcox, Pat Maloney (Tim), Pete (Chris), Joan Moore (Al), Ken (Lorraine), Don, Mike (Suzanne), Linda Easton (Dave). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Anne MacMillan and grandson Jamie Pollard (1985). Jim was a veteran with Royal Canadian Navy and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 119 Ingersoll. Friends will be received at the McBEATH-DYNES FUNERAL HOME 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The complete funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 17th, 2011 at 1:30 pm with Reverend Jim Carr officiating. Donations in Jim's memory to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #119 Ingersoll or the Alexandra Hospital Foundation (cheques accepted) would be appreciated. A Royal Canadian Legion service under the auspices of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #119 Ingersoll will be held Sunday evening at 7pm. Online condolences may be sent at www.gffh.ca
