COCCHETTO, Angelo - 1924-2011 - Peacefully with his family by his side at Alexandra Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Giacomina (nee D’Ambrosi) Cocchetto. Father of Jim (Heather) Cocchetto of Woodstock, Joseph Cocchetto of Ingersoll, John (Wanda) Cocchetto of Sweaburg, Carlo (Venesa) Cocchetto of Ingersoll and Stephen Cocchetto of Ingersoll. Cherished Grandpa of Ryan, Michael, Katherine, Danielle, Jesse, Tysen and Hayden. Survived by his sister Esterinia of Italy. Predeceased by his brothers Giovanni, Giordano, Berto and his sisters Giovoina, Albina and Maria. Angelo was a veteran of World War II. Celebration between family and friends will be received at the McBEATH-DYNES FUNERAL HOME 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Sunday 7-9 pm, Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm with parish prayers Monday at 7pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church 131 Thames Street North, Ingersoll Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 11 am with Fr. Gilbert Simard presider. Spring interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Donations in Angelo’s memory to the Kidney Foundation or Alexandra Hospital Foundation- Palliative Care (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
