BRETT, Harvey - Suddenly at Bonnie Brae Health Centre on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, Harvey Brett of Woodstock in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Frances (nee Cook) for 56 years. Loving father of Wayne Brett (Kathie), Steven Brett, Kevin Brett (Celina), Karen Brown (Ron), all of Woodstock, and Wendy Stewart (Dave) of Thorndale. Cherished Grandpa and "Poppa" of fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Fred Brett of London. Predeceased by his great granddaughter Rebbeca, sister Diana and brothers Keith and Arnold. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Friday, 7-9 pm and on Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm for a funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 pm with Rev. Ted Molyneaux officiating. Interment at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society of Oxford would be appreciated.
