BILL, Marian "Ruth" (Alyea) - July 14, 1918 - March 4, 2013 - Ruth passed away peacefully at People Care nursing home in Tavistock, Ontario in her 95th year. Loving and devoted wife to the late David Bill, mother to Bonnie Miller and two infant sons (predeceased), grandmother to Cheryl Thompson, Sean and Sherry Thompson, Shari and Jeff Simsons, and Jim Miller, great grandmother to Elijah & Sean Thompson, Bryn and Talia Thompson, Hayley and Tessa Simsons, Matthew, Madison, and Connor Miller. Predeceased by five brothers and three sisters. Ruth was an Eastern Star member, I.O.D.E. Havelock Chapter, Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 55, Woodstock and Ladies of the Moose Lodge. Friends may call at the BROCK and VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday March 7, 2013 from 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 am.
