DeVOS, Mrs. Ellie - of Graham Street, Woodstock passed away at the Woodstock General Hospital on Monday, March 18, 2013 in her 83rd year. Ellie enjoyed various pastimes of euchre, bowling, dancing, fishing and was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. Also a former associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #125, Delhi. Former Elizabeth Halinen. Beloved friend & companion of Frank Reitsma, Woodstock. Loving mother of Debbie Adamson (Ian), Woodstock and Mark DeVos (Christine), Port Dover. Cherished grandmother of Lyndsy, Rob, Vanessa and Paige. Dearest sister of Elsa Armstrong, Eppa Macissac, Eero Halinen (June), Eino Halinen and sister-in-law of Frank DeVos (Nicole). Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Urbain DeVos (1977) and by her daughter Darlene DeVos (1992), her sister Eila Driver (2012) and by her brother-in-law, Lawrence Armstrong (2012) and sister-in-law, Jeanette Ciers (2012). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi for visitation on Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and for Parish Prayers said at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Charity of your choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family
