HINNEGAN, Donald - Peacefully at VON Sakura House, Woodstock on Monday, April 15, 2013, Don Hinnegan of Woodstock at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Mary Lynn (nee McKeon) for 51 years. Dear father of Patrick Hinnegan (Calana) of Stratford, Erin Vandenbussche (Jerry) of Woodstock, and Shannon Hinnegan of Woodstock. Cherished Papa of Megan, Aislinn, Brad, Amanda, Tyler, Vanessa, Troy, Laura, Carly, and Rachel. Brother of Allan Hinnegan (Paula), Carol Kelly, Colleen Osterberg (Keith), Fred Hinnegan (Brenda), and Perry Hinnegan (Karen), and step-brother of John Sawyer (Rose Mary), Helen Valcaniante (Nick), Jim Sawyer (Irene), and Pat Becktold (Martin). Predeceased by his parents Donald Sr. and Helen Hinnegan, his step-mother Elizabeth Hinnegan, and his step-sister Mary Beth Lachine. Don was an honourary life member of the Knights of Columbus, a senator of the Junior Chamber of Commerce International, and an inductee of both the Chatham and Dresden Sports Halls of Fame. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME , 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm. Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 904 Dundas Street, Woodstock, on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
